The new shutter release kit for the Holga arrived today and it seems the mystery of incompatibility has been solved. It seems the shutter releases they are selling now have an oblong- shaped cut out (as opposed to a circular one) at the bottom of the attachment which should, I believe, be able to accommodate both kinds of Holga tripod mounts! Yeah! That said, I can finally start thinking about and planning for doing some Holga infrared.
